20 Jan 2011 - Brian Noble set for advisory role in Gareth Thomas Biopic
PRESS RELEASE
Brian Noble's manager Emanuele Palladino has confirmed that Brian Noble has met with the writer of Gareth Thomas’s film and will be meeting Mickey Rourke in February to discuss the possibility of taking up an official advisory role on the film.
‘Everyone in the game of rugby across both codes knows what a larger than life character Nobby is. He is a legend in the game and a true one-off, you just have to listen to his answer phone messages to know that.’
‘Gareth and Mickey want the rugby scenes to be as realistic as possible and Brian’s role will be to make sure that happens. His role will be to liase with Gareth and Mickey Rourke himself, who is extremely hands on and passionate about this role. Brian will be looking to recruit players for the role across both codes and make sure that the rugby playing scenes in the film are as accurate and credible as possible.’
14 Dec 2010 - Gareth Thomas heading to the US to meet TV star Ellen DeGeneres
Thomas’ manager Emanuele Palladino comments:
“Since his coming out last December Gareth has been inundated with letters of support from around the world, and in particular in the US where there seems to be a real interest in hearing a distinctive voice speaking so openly about homophobia. Gareth’s unique position in world sport gives him that opportunity, and he is excited to have been invited to appear as a guest on the Ellen DeGeneres show in January. Gareth cannot wait to meet Ellen who he confesses is something of a role model to him, and to open up about his own personal journey and his plans one year on.”
Thomas comments:
“When I was out in the US on holiday just recently I watched the show and have always been a massive fan. Ellen always seems to make people happy about themselves, and one of my big aims is to do just that and make people feel confident about who they are. I also think this is a great opportunity to let Americans hear the positive outcome of what my life has become in the last year.”

Congratulations to all the distinct. clients who saw off the Bradford Bulls with a comprehensive 19-0 defeat at Murrayfield on Saturday. Stand-off Michael Witt scored a massive 15 of the 19 points including 2 tries, while Gareth Thomas proved he is up to the challenge of his recent conversion to rugby league with a fantastic performance on the pitch, including setting up the first try with a stunning 60-metre break. Great work, boys.

distinct. client Gareth Williams will be storming into the final of the Amlin Challenge Cup after he helped take the Cardiff Blues to an 18-15 victory against the Wasps on Saturday. The Blues will meet Toulon in the final on the 23rd of May, and a victory there will make them the first Welsh side to win a Euro title. We wish him and his team the best of luck.
